Long spans

The SL-Deck has been designed to enable steel reinforcement in the top between two decks, which is illustrated on the picture below. This feature ensures increased stability between decks and enable up to 75 % longer spans than if it is simple supported by the bearing walls.

With a standard load of 4kN/m2 the spans of the SL-Deck are:

Simple supported: 8 meters

Fixed-end assembly in 1 side: 11 meters

Fixed-end assembly in 2 sides: 14 meters
